Public Notice - Effective January 30, 2016 the Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) has available for review and inspection the 2016 Annual Plan and 5 Year Action Plan at the LMHA Administrative Offices, 1600 Kansas Ave., Lorain. The Plans are also available at all public housing site offices (locations provided on our web site), on the LMHA website @ www.lmha.org, or by TDD/TTY (800) 750-0750. LMHA is interested in your comments. A public hearing will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at LMHA, 1600 Kansas Ave., Lorain. Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority will host the Strong Families Initiative for the residents of Westview Terrace and Leavitt Homes on Friday, June 14, 2019. This event is free and will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Westview Terrace, located at 2218 W. 24th St. Lorain, OH 44052. Parents and guardians can bring their children to enjoy the day together by participating in activities including a cookout, petting zoo, face painting, DJ, giveaways, and Child IDs from the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office, all while learning about available community resources that promote health, education, and economic empowerment.
