Vacant Unit Turn Service

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) is soliciting bids to provide Vacant Unit Turn Services for vacated units at specified LMHA locations. This opportunity is covered under Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968.

Bid documents and specifications will be available via LMHA’s website beginning November 22, 2021, until and including Friday, December 10, 2021, free of charge.  Contractors must obtain a bid package from LMHA in order for a bid to be considered for award.  Please contact Jennifer Oliver, Contract Manager, at 440-288-7475 or joliver@lmha.org with questions. Specifications may also be examined at Builders Exchange, 9555 Rockside Road, Suite 300, Valleyview, OH. 

There will be no pre-bid walkthrough.  LMHA highly recommends field verification of different sized units prior to bidding.    

Last day for questions is Wednesday, December 1, 2021 and Final Addendum will be issued on Monday, December 6, 2021. 

Individual sealed proposals will be received at LMHA’s Main Office, 1600 Kansas Ave., Lorain, OH 44052, until 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2021.    Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time.

LMHA’s Executive Director reserves the right to cancel any solicitation and to accept or reject in whole or in part any bid/proposal for good cause when in the best interest of the Housing Authority.
