LMHA strives to be a national pacesetter among housing providers. SHARED PRINCIPLES & VALUES About LMHA: The Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority is a public entity empowered by the State of Ohio, funded in part through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, to provide subsidized housing for eligible citizens of Lorain County. LMHA's Commitment: We, as a public agency, with the support of our Board of Commissioners and a commitment from all staff, have a shared responsibility to provide results-oriented quality work and services for our customers. Building Stronger Neighborhoods through Community Partnerships: LMHA, together with our residents, local government, community agencies and the citizens of Lorain County, is committed to developing community partnerships to maintain and improve neighborhood standards. The LMHA has low rise developments, hirise buildings and scattered site housing to support the housing needs of families and individuals.
